Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core: Genesis Rhapsodos rapier [08 Dec 2009|09:40pm] ffcosplay [darcenciel] Hi everyone! I just finished a commission for Genesis Rhapsodos's rapier from FFVII Crisis Core and thought you guys might be interested in seeing it! The finished sword was 5'7" (to match the cosplayer's height) and weighed about 5 pounds. It's a little crazy to imagine this sword is actually a rapier considering how long it is and its weight, but...there you go XD You can click on the above photo to go to my DA page with more info on how I made it. The basic sword is made of wood, with the hilt detailing sculpted out of Aves Apoxie Sculpt (a 2-part clay-like kneaded epoxy) over a wire form.
