But I just had an Uber *squeeeeee* moment when there was an advert for the new 5 episode mini-series of Torchwood :D. I really love Torchwood and Dr Who, because despite the cheeseiness (if that's how its spelt) I think the script writing and direction is fantastic, the plots are usually quite intuitive and David Tennant/ John Barrowman is pretty ^_^. <br /><br />Things are quite good at the moment, although had a few hormonal mood swings and a few small stresses which frustrated me last weekend. Completely sucked in by FFXI which is not good with the amount of cosplay i need to do xD. But started to lvl my whm which is entertaining because a lot of parties I have been in seem to think that I can heal them and take damage for them whilst they "FORGET" to get the enemy's attention. Luckily my Redmage exp means I know how to keep myself alive, mainly by running away until someone else decides they might fight the mob bashing me on the head. But yes most of my old friends are on there which is amazing, but I only play once a week or so, (twice this wk :P) so its not too bad :D.<br /><br />Viola cosplay- top is finished, I need to get some wire for the furry back piece, and some willow for the bow. and then the rest xD. Beks told me of a clue which strengthened fabric but I forgot what it was ; ;. Its been fun and I've enjoyed it. On wednesday it was Ross, Lee, Keith, Pete and me, and it was just a good day where we all had a laugh but actually got everything done. And Beks and Lou kept popping in which disturbed the monotony of work too ^^. So yes I want to stay on at work, I know I'm not under-appreciated, and I like my job. I just have to cross my fingers for a decent contract to come my way when they change, or I won't have a choice but to leave.<br /><br />I've been considering future options as well and I've decided if I get bored with GAME I'll probably consider looking into some psychology lab work, such as the stuff I've done for my dissetation, because as much as I've moaned about my subjects, I've really enjoyed it ^^. Or if I don't want to do psychology 'stuff' I'll go work with beks and poke her some more xD.<br /><br />I've been shopping a lot ^^, have half of Kyle's bday pressie after it went a bit wrong on his actual bday (present confusion), still looking for that elusive idea for the second part however :S<br /><br />Seeing Lou tomorrow for coffee then popping home to slough to see family, hopefully including the gran and grandad. Planning to take easter eggs as well as the chances are I won't be there for easter. I'm quite looking forward to it, the only thing I regret about moving to brighton is that I left my family and friends behind. Very very late lol. Christmas and new year was spent in Brighton, I really didn't want to go home and face the family and the situation. Its uncomfortable and stressful. Especially because my parents are not very good with facing reality. So yes I spent the holidays in Brighton, working full time at GAME to earn me some money; which I have spent on clothes and my nintendo wii.<br /><br />The wii is the best purchase I have made in a long time :D. The games, aside from zelda, aren't amazing, but the machine is fantastic. The graphics aren't great but its just so much fun to play, and its the first games console my non-gaming friends have ever been interested in. I think I've broken one controller however, the sound is very dodgy, but thats because I've dropped it several times, and hit Liz on the elbow with it ^^. I am yet to hit Beks in the face with it though :D.<br /><br />So yes back to me :D, university has been keeping me quite busy, lots to do in terms of assignments, although not unreasonable amounts, just have to keep up with the reading for it all. I'm still not really happy with university in terms of liking my degree and enjoying psychology as a subject but I now see it as a means to an end. It will be important to have, and should help me to get a decent job regardless of whether I actually use the psychological knowledge I've learnt.<br /><br />At the end of the day it seems very certain (nothing is completely certain), that there is room for me in GAME should I choose to stay on. I'm now organising the training for all the staff aside from management, and am going to the store's management meeting on wednesday :). Its really good to have the responsability and a little bit more to do than simply sell stuff. Selling stuff isn't bad, its just a bit boring if its all you do! <br /><br />Kyle and I have reached 2 years of going out, planning to go on holiday in July! As long as we go to somewhere hot! Its awesome, sometimes a little tricky in terms of spending time together, but all good :D. Its hard when one works 9-5 mon-fri, and the other all weekend. <br /><br />Went out for drinks tonight with some people from work. Mostly staff from the Worthing store; all boys, proper man's club, and then just the regulars from the Brighton stores. A bigger turnout would have been good but it was ok. Its like seeing distant relatives, its a once a year meeting, and nothing happens in that meeting. <br /><br />Anyway Kyle wants bed... Will go get in his way and hog the covers! I spend large amounts of time in my room under the pretence that I am working, but in fact end up sitting under my duvet playing one of 2 things; Final Fantasy Online (caylithe needs medical help) or something on my PS2. I intend to work when I get home. Honestly. But it never happens<br /><br />3. Sleeping in until 3pm then spending the rest of the day in my pjs wandering round complaining I'm tired. I did this lots last year :D. Then I ran out of money and now have to work. But occassionally, if I'm lucky, I'll get a day off in which I will only lie in bed :D<br /><br />2. Teasing and insulting people. I never mean it, mostly they know I never mean it, but I still feel a little guilty that I get so much pleasure out of calling someone stinky :P<br /><br />1. Hee hee it really has to be chocolate. I really shouldn't enjoy chocolate as much as I do. REALLY. I'm gonna end up developing an allergy to chocolate, I forsee it, and then I won't be able to eat any :P. Lol. Because I am weak xD. But also because it is fun and I will get my rdm to lvl 75 goddamn it if it is the last thing I do.
